Christmas in Rochester

This weekend is the first weekend of the Christmas market since Vanilla Ice officially opened it on Wednesday!

The High Street is feeling pretty magical, it's definitely worth a visit! You can shop, visit the fairground and treat yourself to some naughty Xmas goodies!

The smell of roasted chestnuts fills the market and the beautiful Castle grounds provide a magical scenery for the festivites!

With rides like the Helter Skelter, The Ferris Wheel and The Teacups, there's plenty for small children to do!

As well as the fairground, there are cabin-style stalls of Christmas gifts and a food-fest of German sausages, candy floss, cupcakes, cheese, mulled wine and beer!

And of course if you are making a trip to Rochester, you mustn't forget to have a walk through the High Street to see the beautiful Christmas lights and do a bit of shopping!
